This large sized book has amazing photographs, technical readouts, and the history of the development of the plane since the P-1127 and the earliest Pegasus motors. The cooperation between BAe and McDonnel Aircraft, the diplomacy and political tug of war to provide the financing for the Harrier II project.

In this book you’ll also information regarding the GR3, GR5, AV-8A/B and the Sea Harrier. When this book was published the GR7 and GR9 weren’t developed yet. There are recently published books that cover the most recent versions.

Probably the best chapter of this book is the Harrier in action where you can get a glimpse of the superb capabilities of this machine in true combat in the Falklands conflict.
