Centurion is 1 of the longest serving & most successful tanks ever.

Very large, noisy & impressive, VERY low mileage & in great working order!

Yes its in NZ & really for sale
No sorry you can't fire it, the gun is deactivated.
No its not road registered
Yes its huge fun to drive
Yes it fought in a war – Vietnam 1970-71 – see video at:

I have owed it 11 years & imported it with just 125miles on the clock.

Now showing just 1150 miles it has been very reliable & regularly used, serviced & maintained.

Had a new main engine fitted just 100miles ago - this is a $20K job - done for you!

Surprisingly easy to drive & a total blast!

Comes with comprehensive user manual, technical workshop manual & driving tuition if wanted.

Served with the Australians in the Vietnam War - ARN 169039. NZ also had Cent MBT's.

It is classed as a firearm in NZ - buyer MUST have Cat A license!

Great for promotions & advertising - has serious presence!

Great for the daily commute? Very good at car crushing...

Hi can the tank be made road legal so it can be driven on a paper road. What drier licence do i need to drive the tank what mods does it needs done to the tank for this to happen where can i see the tank. Ray james2052 (2 2 positive feedback) 11:30 am, Sun 4 Jun
Hi - I never investigated making it road legal as it wasn't of interest to me. I know ones in Aussie are legal with their metal tracks. In other countries other tanks have needed their tracks changing to rubber clad versions (these are available for Centurion - called hush-puppy tracks). Dont know what other requirements but would guess lights (head, indicator and brake), horn etc as for a WOF / COF.. A class 2 licence with tracks endorsement is required, Tank is in Loburn, Cheers 2:35 am, Tue 6 Jun
Have you got a meteor engine for sale by any chance? pbrainey (160 160 positive feedback) 11:09 am, Thu 15 Jun
Just the one in the tank now! I do have sources of them in Aussie and the UK - mostly crated recons. Cheers 7:56 pm, Thu 15 Jun

Hi - Yes is unbelievably awesome! Something like that is certainly a possibility for any potential buyer - I've done that (and had a blast doing it!), but I've now moved on to other adventures. Cheers. 6:48 pm, Sat 19 Aug
