More Taieri Buildings
Written by Daphne Lemon & Audrey Bascand

Daphne Lemon and Audrey Bascand collaborate to recreate some of the life and historical character of the Taieri Plain.

As in their first book, this book emphasizes the homes, farm buildings and other structures built by the handy settlers of the mid-nineteenth century. Today the owners, many of them direct descendants of the pioneers, still put them to use, often gaining with them a quality of living that more modern designs find hard to equal.

And for the visitors to the Taieri, text and drawings will stimulate the imagination and again prompt a new awareness of our heritage.
