An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join our Auckland-based Telecommunications team on a 6-month contract.
The Opportunity As a Management Accountant, you will support the financial integrity of the business, ensuring finance functions meet and exceed expectations set by both internal and external stakeholders. You will be a driven and adaptable professional with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the wider finance team with daily, weekly, and monthly contract financial reporting and analysis
- Performing month-end processes including reconciliations, accruals, journals, project costing, P&L reporting, and variance analysis
- Ensuring accurate, timely, and detailed monthly management reporting, with support across forecasting and budgeting activities
- Using COINS to raise purchase orders and process goods receipting in a timely manner
- Preparing information, providing reporting, and assisting with broader administration requirements
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or working toward or holding a relevant qualification
- Strong communication skills with a people-focused approach and the ability to build effective relationships
- Solid Excel and financial analysis capability
- High attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach-particularly during peak workload periods
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
