Senior Shepherd

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced shepherd to join our team. Our station is an 11,000ha high country property surrounding St Bathans and a run block under the Hawkdun Mountain range running sheep, beef and deer.

We require a hard working, positive person with a good sense of humor and the following attributes:

• A well-mannered team of dogs
• 3 plus years all round farming experience with good stock sense
• Good communication skills
• Ability and enthusiasm to work alone and as part of a team
• Fencing skills
• Full drivers license
• Good record keeping and pasture management
• Ability to take on large amounts of responsibility when required
