High Country Station Manager

We are seeking an experienced High-Country Station Manager to replace our current retiring manager at Lake Ohau Station, the station comprises 8322 hectares of Freehold Land ranging in altitude from 500m absl to 2500m absl 30 kms inland off state highway 8 between Twizel and Omarama North Otago. We require a Station Manager to take responsibility for 6000 stock units of Merino sheep and beef cattle The property has had substantial development done in recent years and we are seeking somebody to continue with development increasing farm productivity.
The property also runs a 24-bed visitor accommodation alongside the farming; the successful applicant will also be required to be involved with the management of the accommodation side of the business.
A four bedroomed homestead in an iconic setting is available for the successful applicant. With the mountains, Ohau ski field and the Lake on the door steep there are numerous recreational activities to enjoy.
