Service Bay Technician - Heavy Transport

Due to ongoing growth (we must be doing something right!), we are looking for a solid Service Bay Technician to join a well-established and respected name in the NZ Heavy Transport industry.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consistency, structure, and being part of a team where people genuinely look out for each other. If you are over unpredictable workloads, constant pressure, or wondering what your week is going to look like — this could be the change you have been looking for.

This is a workshop-based role with regular servicing, maintenance, repairs and day-to-day fleet support within a clean, organised and purpose-built environment. You will know what your day looks like, have the support around you to do the job properly, and work within a business that values stability, communication and long-term staff retention.

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel or Automotive Technician
• Experience working on heavy transport, trucks or commercial fleets
• Someone reliable, practical and team-focused
• Strong servicing and maintenance ability with good workshop habits
• Positive attitude and pride in doing the job right first time
• Someone looking for a long-term home — not just another job
