Description

Boats don’t wait for breakdowns at a convenient time — and neither do great Marine Engineers. That’s why we’re on the hunt for a Qualified Diesel Technician with solid exposure to engine and driveline maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, and a genuine passion for the marine sector.

Whether your background is commercial marine, recreational vessels, heavy diesel, transport, agriculture, or industrial equipment — if you know your way around diesel engines and enjoy solving problems, we want to hear from you.

We’ve got plenty of work for someone who is passionate about the industry and wants to turn that passion into a genuine long-term career path. This is the kind of role where no two days are the same — from engine servicing and repairs through to diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and getting customers back on the water doing what they love.

What’s in it for you?

  • Work with a well-established and respected business in the marine sector
  • Variety across workshop, field service, and customer-facing work
  • Supportive team environment with genuine technical backing
  • Ongoing training and opportunities to continue building your skills
  • Modern tooling, quality equipment, and a strong pipeline of work
  • A role where your mechanical ability and attitude are genuinely valued

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Diesel Technician / Heavy Automotive qualification preferred
  • Experience with diesel engines, driveline systems, hydraulics, and diagnostics
  • Exposure to marine engines or a strong interest in moving into the marine industry
  • Someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and getting the job done right the first time
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a customer-focused mindset
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to keep learning

If you’re the kind of person who would rather be around engines, boats, and practical problem solving than sitting behind a desk all day — this could be the role for you.
