We're working with a well-established Waikato company that's continuing to grow and is looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician to join their Hamilton team.

This is a varied role with a good balance of workshop and field work, servicing and repairing forklifts and heavy equipment across the region. You'll be joining a supportive team with modern equipment, steady workflow, and genuine long-term opportunities.

The role:

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on forklifts and heavy equipment
• Perform servicing and preventative maintenance
• Handle breakdowns and field service work
• Work both independently and alongside a skilled team
• Complete job cards and service documentation

• $40-$46 per hour depending on experience

What we're looking for:

• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Experience working on heavy machinery, forklifts, trucks, or similar equipment
• Someone reliable, practical, and self-motivated
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
