Finance and Insurance - Business Manager

We're looking for an ambitious Finance and Insurance Business Manager to join our Christchurch team. Your role will be to assist with customer enquiries for finance and insurance products and assist our Sales team by closing deals with confidence. What this role looks like: As our Finance & Insurance Business Manager, you will play a key role in helping our customers through the vehicle purchasing process — from arranging competitive finance solutions through to presenting our range of insurance and protection products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with test drives, sales agreements, vehicle finance applications and approvals.
• Present finance, insurance, warranty and vehicle protection products professionally and ethically.
• Build strong relationships with lending partners and insurance providers.
• Prepare finance documentation accurately and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the entire purchasing journey.
• Work closely with the vehicle sales team to maximize customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Achieve individual and dealership finance and insurance targets.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of lender policies, responsible lending obligations and industry regulations.
• Follow up customers and ensure finance settlements are completed efficiently.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in automotive finance and insurance is preferred but not essential for applicants with strong sales experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Confidence using computer systems and finance software.
• A positive attitude with a genuine passion for helping customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Team player with a collaborative spirit and a positive attitude
• Professional presentation and a high level of integrity.
• A current New Zealand driver's license.
