Tradestaff are assisting with developing a large-scale civil project near Whangarei. We are seeking skilled Digger Operators to join our project team to prepare the site before the installation work begins.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Operate excavators, and other earthmoving equipment. Excavate trenches for cabling, drainage, and foundations. Clear and level ground, removing obstacles, rocks, and vegetation as required. Assist in creating access roads and pad foundations for solar panels. Backfill trenches and compact soil to specification. Load and unload materials as required. Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
WHAT WE NEED: Minimum 5 years’ experience digger operating - GPS experience is a bonus Reliable Transport Full Class 1 NZ Drivers licence + WTR - Class 2 is a bonus Be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
