Your Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the well-being of each child.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Follow an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum to foster a love for learning.
- Conduct developmental assessments and maintain detailed records of each child's progress.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute enriching activities and events.
- Act as a person responsible for the centre, as directed.
What We’re Looking For:
- We're seeking a qualified teacher to join the team, starting in the new year.
- Desire to work with children aged 3+ years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment. Ideally you will be flexible in working across all ages in the preschool environment.
- We are a Montessori Preschool and as such, this opportunity will suit people who are either experienced in, or interested in learning about, the Montessori philosophy of teaching.
- Ability to work across a Monday to Friday roster, 20-30 hours per week.
- Successful applicants will have the legal right to work in New Zealand. We are not currently providing visa sponsorship opportunities to offshore applicants.
