BestStart Wigram is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher in Training to join our energetic, supportive, and experienced team. We're committed to providing high‑quality early childhood education for the tamariki in our community, and we'd love to welcome someone who shares that purpose.
About BestStart Wigram
Our centre is a purpose‑designed childcare complex made up of two buildings, Tahi and Rua, located in the Wigram Skies subdivision near Hornby. Across our seven classrooms, each space is thoughtfully designed to support a specific age group:
- Infants (0–2 years)
- Toddlers (2–3.5 years)
- Preschoolers (3.5–6 years)
This structure allows us to offer age‑specific challenges, individualised learning plans, and developmentally appropriate resources for every stage of a child's learning journey. Our Kaiako work closely with whānau to incorporate home routines for our youngest tamariki, while our Set for School programme supports older children as they prepare for their transition to school.
