About the Role

This role is based in our Prepschool (3.5 years to school age), where children are encouraged to make decisions, follow their interests, and take ownership of their learning. Our child-led programme supports tamariki to learn at a pace and level that suits them, while striving toward new challenges each day.

As a Caregiver, you will help create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel confident and inspired. You will work closely with a supportive team and a Centre Manager who values collaboration and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and education to tamariki
• Support child-led learning and engage in meaningful play
• Contribute positively to team culture
• Assist across classrooms and cover staff breaks
• Support centre operations as required

This is a fixed-term position from May - November 2026, working 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (ideally 9.30am–3.30pm).

What We're Looking For:

An ECE qualification is not required, but you must have:

• A natural affinity for working with young children
• Experience with children under five
• Initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• The ability to take direction and work collaboratively
