LaserSpeed is a fast growing company with customers throughout the Bay or Plenty and Waikato. Our aim is Fast Service and Easy for our customers to work with. We have quality Amada Laser Cutting Machines, offer a CNC Press Brake Service and Tube Laser Cutting.
We require an experienced CNC Laser and Press Brake Operators to operate our CNC Laser Cutters and CNC Press Brakes. We run 2 shifts are looking for operators for both shifts.
We have modern high-quality Amada Lasers and we cut and bend light to medium plate. Materials include stainless, aluminum and mild steel up to 16mm.
A successful candidate would:
- Have 3 years or more Metal Machinery Operation experience
- Or a Relevant Trade Level Qualification or Higher
- Be proficient on a computer
- Be proficient with Metal Machinery Operation
- Be positive and have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Can operate a forklift
- Be able to work well without supervision and also as part of a team
- Great verbal and written English
- Available for afternoon shift
Pay rates based on skills and experience,
- Range $30 to $35 per hour
- $20 per day shift allowance for the afternoon shift (2:00PM to 10:30PM)
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday
- Morning shirt 6:00AM to 2:30PM
- Afternoon shift (2:00PM to 10:30PM)
- Some Saturday work
