Description
This is a newly created role, Beginning in the new year, to help manage our very busy workshop. The role will suit a qualified welder, sheetmetal worker or fitter turner that would like to take the next step in their career. It is a “hands on” role, reporting directly to the owner.
Your Position As Workshop Foreman, you'll help oversee the daily operations of our busy workshop - ensuring production targets, quality standards, customer service and health and safety standards are met.
You will be required to
- Conduct toolbox meetings
- Assist with work scheduling
- Assist with job quoting
- Sheetmetal work
- Light mild steel, Stainless steel and Alloy fabrication.
- Basic machining and turning
- Site maintenance and installation
- Mentor Apprentices
