Asset Engineering is a general, structural, and mechanical engineering company specialising in metalwork. We undertake a wide range of projects in the field of construction throughout New Zealand and continue to expand and broaden our portfolio with each passing year
About you/ The role
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager with either good construction knowledge or an engineering background, the applicant does not specifically need to come from an engineering background. The role will cover structural steel work & metalwork projects from start to finishing involving the following:
- Reviewing construction drawings
- Procuring materials
- Dealing with subcontractors
- Client relations
- Handover process to get manufacturing & installation underway
- Quality assurance checks
You will need to have the following skills to be considered for this role:
Strong ability to read and understand construction & general shop drawings
-QA/H&S responsibilities
-Ability to work well under pressure
