Front Desk Coordinator

Chapel Park Dental is a busy dental practice based in Flatbush, South Auckland. We're looking for an experienced Front Desk Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice and keep our day-to-day reception running smoothly.

What you'll do: As our Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing the front reception desk and welcoming patients with a warm smile.
• Handling a high volume of multi-line phone calls efficiently and professionally.
• Booking and managing patient appointments.
• Assisting with general administrative tasks to keep the practice running seamlessly.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Reception Experience: Proven experience managing a busy front desk or reception area.
• Communication Skills: Excellent phone etiquette and top-tier customer service skills.
• Multi-tasking Ability: Comfortable handling multiple phone lines and a busy waiting room.
• Flexibility: Open to working flexible hours and days to meet the practice's needs.
• Local Resident: Ideally, you live in South or East Auckland for an easy daily commute.

Desirable (but not essential) skills:

• Basic knowledge of dental or medical environments/terminology is a big plus.
• Multilingual skills are highly valued and would be a great bonus for our diverse community.
