Residential Support Workers – Two Permanent Opportunities

We are currently recruiting for two permanent Residential Support Worker positions.

Both roles include regular weekend work and require flexibility to work additional hours, including sleepover shifts, to support annual leave and staff absences when required.

Position One – Dedicated Residential Support Worker

Approximately 30 hours per week

This is a dedicated one-to-one role supporting an individual with autism and complex behavioural support needs.

We're looking for someone who is calm, patient and emotionally regulated, with experience supporting people with autism and confidence using positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies.

This role offers the opportunity to build a genuine long-term relationship with one person while helping them achieve their goals and live a meaningful life.

Position Two – Residential Support Worker

Approximately 25 hours per week

This role offers consistency, variety and flexibility.

You'll work across a range of CLNZ homes and services, including our dedicated one-to-one support service, providing quality support wherever it's needed. You'll become an important part of maintaining continuity of care across our organisation while enjoying a varied and rewarding role.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

• Experience supporting people with autism, intellectual disability and/or complex behavioural support needs.
• A calm and confident approach in challenging situations using effective de-escalation techniques.
• Strong communication skills and excellent spoken and written English.
• Reliability, professionalism and flexibility.
• A genuine commitment to person-centred support.

A Health and Wellbeing qualification, First Aid Certificate and previous disability support experience are advantageous. Ongoing training and professional development are provided.
