An exciting opportunity has been created for Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team at The Clements Hotel located at 68 Duke Street, Cambridge 3434, NZ. The Clements is Cambridge’s most iconic Hotel, a stunning renovation of a heritage building formerly known as the Masonic Hotel and built in 1911, this project has truly been a labor of love. The sensitively restored and renovated building has been transformed into a 5-star boutique hotel featuring 29 guest rooms and complemented by extensive F&B operations including a restaurant and a speakeasy bar.
As Front of House superstars, you will play a crucial role in presenting our food and beverage facilities in the best light. You will be responsible for carrying out daily restaurant, bar and conference service, and maintaining the high standards of customer service that Capstone is known for.
We have multiple positions available including Full Time, Part Time and Casual.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring table reservations
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and food quality.
- Uphold the restaurant and bar's policies and procedures.
- Follow the supply of Alcohol Act.
- Knowledgeably present menu options and provide recommendations to guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and workstations.
Experience:
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage is a must.
- Previous experience in a customer service.
- Ability to think on your feet and work by yourself.
- NZ resident or applicable Visa.
