We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our clients team in a factory-based role. This is a hands-on position involving a variety of mechanical maintenance tasks to support ongoing plant operations.About the Role
The role includes:
- Welding and general fabrication work
- Machining work on the lathe
- Plant and machinery repairs and preventative maintenance
- Supporting breakdown maintenance when required
- Occasional Saturday morning work to carry out maintenance while the plant is not operatingSkills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience in a factory or industrial maintenance environment
- Strong welding skills
- Experience operating a lathe and general machining equipment
- A practical, problem-solving approach to maintenance and repairs
- A forklift licence (preferred), or willingness to obtain one – training can be providedHours of Work
- Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Occasional Saturday mornings as requiredWhat We Offer
