Lovecars is a family-owned Christchurch business that has been helping New Zealanders care for their vehicles for over 10 years. We operate several successful ecommerce brands including Lovecars, Autostolz, Rockcar and Kings of Chrome, shipping orders throughout New Zealand every day.
We're looking for a reliable and organised Operations Assistant to help manage order fulfilment, inventory accuracy and warehouse operations from our Sockburn warehouse.
This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of making sure orders are packed correctly, dispatched on time and that the warehouse remains organised and efficient.
Part-time role (approximately 20-30 hours per week)
Expected starting rate: $28-$30 per hour depending on experience and suitability.
Hours and responsibilities may be adjusted slightly to suit the successful applicant.
What you'll be doing
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
- Preparing click and collect orders.
- Processing courier shipments.
- Performing rolling stocktakes and inventory checks.
- Replenishing stock locations.
- Maintaining warehouse organisation and cleanliness.
- Assisting with bottling, labelling and kit assembly when required.
- Processing simple fulfilment-related customer service tasks such as order tracking and address changes.
About you
You don't need to know anything about car detailing.
What matters most is that you:
- Are reliable and trustworthy.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Take pride in doing things properly.
- Are comfortable using computers and software systems.
- Can work independently and stay organised.
- Are physically capable of working in a warehouse environment.
- Enjoy improving systems and keeping things organised.
While experience is helpful, we are far more interested in attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.
