Description

ANZCO Foods Waitara (ANZCO Prepared Foods), based at 1 Stafford Street Waitara have a number of fulltime permanent positions available offering at least 30 hours per week. These positions will be paid a minimum of $718.50 per week and over time rates will also be available. The hours of these positions are Monday - Friday 45 hours per week with occasional Saturdays.

We have opportunities for individuals with a can-do attitude to work in our Coldstore department at our ANZCO Foods Waitara. Previous forklift and/or coldstore experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided

These are full-time positions that report to our Cold Store Supervisor. You will need to be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in a cold environment.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Sorting products on to pallets as they come out of blast freezers
Ensuring cartons are not damaged and correctly scanned follow inventory control procedures
Ensuring all areas are keep clean and tidy inline with health and safety requirements of the department/site
Filling racks/pallets as required with product
Assisting with loading of export containers & trucks

Skills and experience we are looking for:

Have a working knowledge of cold store or warehousing functions including computer skills preferred
Forklift license preferable
Physically fit and can handle cold work environment
A good understanding of English, reading and writing
