Looking for a role with variety, a friendly team, and the chance to put your category skills to real use? Our client is looking for a Category and Operations Assistant to join their team.
This position supports both Category Management and Operations, giving you a blend of data accuracy, product support, and hands on involvement in the warehouse and showroom. You will help maintain accurate product information, support category insights, assist with showroom and trade activity, and contribute to smooth warehouse operations. It suits someone organised, detail focused, and comfortable working across different tasks and environments.
Key duties
- Maintain product data, pricing, descriptions, and catalogue updates
- Build datasets, reports, and insights to support category decisions
- Assist with showroom displays, product checks, and trade show preparation
- Support customer data tasks, POS ordering, and overflow enquiries
- Manage documentation and content across CRM and shared platforms
- Carry out market and competitor research when required
Skills and experience
- Background in category, merchandising, buying support, supply coordination, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage varied tasks
- Comfortable using systems and spreadsheets
- Clear communication skills across internal teams
- Willingness to assist in warehouse and showroom spaces when needed
