We’re on the lookout for a motivated and organised Administration Superstar to join our friendly team at JRL Electrical & HVAC.
At JRL, we deliver a wide range of residential and commercial electrical projects, along with HVAC installations including ducted heat pumps, commercial ventilation, and VRF systems. Our projects are varied, interesting, and always growing — and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us!

About You
Our ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll ideally bring: *Previous experience in a similar administrative role (preferred but not essential) *A proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused attitude *Confidence to make decisions independently *Familiarity with Xero, SimPro, or Employment Hero (advantageous — full training provided) *A passion for helping improve systems and processes within the business *NZ residency or citizenship (essential – please apply only if you currently reside in NZ)
Key Responsibilities: *Managing calls and assisting clients (existing and new) *Coordinating vehicle servicing and fleet maintenance *Checking and managing staff timesheets *Ensuring all Health & Safety documentation is up to date and properly filed *Assisting with payroll and data entry of supplier invoices *Reconciling accounts in Xero *Supporting marketing efforts — including maintaining our customer database and handling mailouts *Managing website and customer enquiries *Providing day-to-day administrative support to Directors *Overseeing stock management and maintaining organised inventory
