Start the new year with a meaningful role in a centre where diversity thrives and whanaungatanga grows. BestStart Cranford Street has been proudly serving our community since 2017, and we're looking for a warm, organised, and dedicated Centre Administrator to join our vibrant, tight-knit team.

About the Role
As our Centre Administrator, you'll be the friendly, professional face of our centre, supporting whānau, our teaching team, and the daily operations that keep our centre thriving.
This is a fixed term position starting in February 2026 until February 2027, working 32.5 hrs per week, 8.30am–3.30pm, Monday - Friday. Times can be flexible for the right candidate.
No two days are the same! You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to families
- Managing bookings, enrolments, and parent enquiries
- Accurate management of accounts, direct debits, and payments
- Meeting daily, weekly, and termly administration deadlines
- Using Word, Excel and other systems with confidence
- Contributing to a warm and welcoming environment
- Supporting centre tours and sharing children's learning with whānau
- Occasionally engaging with our tamariki when needed
You'll also have full access to our National Admin Support Team and excellent training around Ministry of Education requirements.

- Experienced or knowledgeable in account processes

- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Bonus: Fromal experience with children
