We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Engineers Admin Assistant to join our busy engineering workshop. This role requires someone who can work quickly and accurately while supporting both our office and workshop teams.
About the Role: You will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties that keep our operations running smoothly. This position involves dealing with suppliers, supporting payroll processes, and interacting with customers—so confidence and great communication skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll loading and assisting with timesheet accuracy
- Creating and managing job cards for the workshop
- Raising purchase orders for materials
- Liaising with suppliers to organise materials and deliveries
- Customer-facing duties including greeting visitors, answering calls, and providing updates
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- General admin tasks to support the engineering team
We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
- Quick worker able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Confident communicator with a friendly and professional manner
- Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers
- Good computer skills: experience with admin software is an advantage
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
- Previous admin experience is required
