Description
Our client is New Zealand's largest seed company. Their objective is to enhance the profitability of farmers and growers by providing them with grass and forage seeds that provide high quality feed for raising animals. They run a busy operation just outside of Palmerston North and are seeking new staff to join their team.
The Role:
We are seeking an individual for a dispatch and data entry role in their seed processing team. No previous experience is required but is preferred. You will quickly become part of the team, and have the following responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for entering orders into the system and passing them on to the seed processing team so they can prepare them for dispatch. Attention to detail will be required for this position.
- You will also be responsible for checking off orders, printing dispatch papers, and finalising the products before they are loaded into the trucks for delivery.
- In down time you will have to assist with seed picking which is 25kg so being physically fit is a must.
Days & Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm starting ASAP for approx a few months.
$27.00 per hour.
Skills and Attributes:
- Experience in data entry, dispatch and labouring is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to lift 25kgs.
- Your own reliable transport is essential as this position is a 10-minute drive north of Palmerston North.
