Description

This is a key support role that provides high-level administrative assistance across both planning and engineering functions, helping ensure applications, invoicing, and records are processed accurately and efficiently.

The role is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a technical, process-driven environment and is confident juggling competing priorities while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-level administrative support to planners and engineers Process planning and engineering-related applications and enter data accurately into Council systems Monitor application progress and support statutory and regulatory timeframes Prepare and process invoices, fees, and cost recovery documentation Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with legislative and Council requirements Respond to customer, consultant, and internal enquiries in a professional and timely manner Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the Planning & Engineering teams

About you:

You will bring strong administrative skills and a high level of accuracy, along with the confidence to work across technical subject areas.

Experience in a technical or high-level administration role (local government, planning, or engineering experience is an advantage) Strong data entry, document management, and invoicing experience Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities Clear and professional communication skills
