Description
This position is key to keeping the office, sales support, logistics, and administration running smoothly. You’ll work independently while being an important part of a wider team.
Key Responsibilities
*Answering and managing incoming phone calls and emails
*Taking customer orders and entering them into internal systems
*Transferring orders through to inventory and invoicing programmes
*Learning basic product and freight pricing to assist with quoting, or gathering required information and passing through to Sales Representatives
*Providing sales support, including assisting with quotes, managing client relationships, and maintaining client databases
*Communicating with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow
*Assisting with logistics, including loading and unloading trucks and stock management
*Invoicing product to clients and vendors as stock departs depots
*Managing and updating three social media pages
*Assisting with the organisation and running of events such as Field Days and sponsorship events
*Analysing sales figures at the beginning of each month and reporting as required
*Payroll
About You
*Highly organised with strong self-management skills *Confident communicator, both written and verbal *Comfortable working across multiple systems and learning new software *Good attention to detail and accuracy *Able to work both independently and as part of a team *Willing to pitch in where needed — no task too big or small *Some knowledge within agriculture, fertiliser, or animal nutrition would be an advantage *Previous administration or sales support experience is required.
