We’re looking for someone a little bit magic... a cape-wearing, operations-loving Office Hero to help keep our lives running smoothly. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Te Anau, supporting a 7-day-a-week operation with a small and proudly weird crew.

Your core mission? You’ll be the glue that holds operations together. It’s about being useful where it matters most and finding meaning in making things run well through exceptional day-to-day admin, client communications, supply runs and surprise missions, operational support and the kind of do-what-needs-doing energy that you either have or you don't. At times it's social, at times you'll fly solo but it’s always a dynamic adventure that’s as much about attitude as aptitude.

Core Responsibilities Your core mission will be to keep operations smooth and fun...

Day-to-day administration

Supporting a 7 day a week operation

Client communications (email, message responses, a touch of magic)

Phones and Flightless comms

Managing physical client changeovers

Ordering and managing stores and supplies

Everyday runarounds—whatever it randomly takes to keep things moving

You don’t need specific qualifications... just bring all of yourself, a sharp mind, and a sunny attitude.

About Us Pure Salt NZ creates unique multi day adventures in remote locations around New Zealand and international waters for all walks of life from family groups to corporates.

No adventure is like the other, there are no schedules or itineraries.. we simply follow the rhythm of sun and tides along with what everybody feels like for the day.

It's all about CONNECTING PEOPLE TO SELF AND PLACE.

Clients have the opportunity to kayak, free & SCUBA dive, paddle-board, hunt, walk, swim, spearfish, part take in conservation activities, fish, watch whales, birds, dolphins and seals or just relax in the hot tub. Exploring the National parks, learning the local history and new skills is all part of the experience but all in all it is about the client getting away from their busy lives and allowing them to reconnect with themselves and each other while enjoying activities safely out in a remote environment. Something made possible by a tight nit team running the ship passionately and living our values - integrity, growth, honesty in everything we do.
