We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and professional Executive Assistant to support senior leadership and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our operations.

As an Executive Assistant, you will play a critical role in managing schedules, coordinating communications, and supporting key business initiatives. This is a fast-paced position suited to someone who thrives on efficiency, discretion, and attention to detail. About Us The Würth Group is a world market leader in its core business, the trade of assembly and fastening material. In New Zealand we are celebrating 38 years of delivering excellent service and continuous growth of sales from our wide range of uniquely branded, high-quality products. Würth NZ has approximately 340 full time employees with 200 Sales Representative on the road, visiting over 20,000 customers nationwide.

The key responsibilities in this role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Work closely with the Managing Director to define the ongoing strategy for Wurth New Zealand
  • Manage complex calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Act as a key point of contact between executives and internal departments and salesforce
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and minutes
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Support project coordination and follow-ups
  • Collecting, checking and evaluating monthly sales reports and data (key figures, profitability and business process functionality) in relation to the companies’ overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Identifying, analysing and evaluating financial risks and strengths of the company
  • Reviewing financial shortcomings within those company and developing solutions that will optimise financial outcomes

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Accounting knowledge
  • Auditing knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • Demonstrated writing skills and advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email)
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and demonstrated capacity to work independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills including working to deadlines, attending to detail at all times
  • English literacy and numeracy skills
  • Problem solver
  • High analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service skills.
