AutoCAD Technician / Digital Templater – Marbello Benchtops

Location: Christchurch Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Stone, Acrylic and Ceramic Benchtop Manufacturing

Marbello Benchtops is one of Canterbury’s leading benchtop manufacturers, known for precision, innovation, and premium finishes. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Technician and/or Digital Templater to join our production team.

This role is critical to our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for digitally measuring joinery on site, converting this data into accurate AutoCAD working files, and preparing files for direct import into our CNC machines to manufacture some of the best benchtops in New Zealand.

Key Duties

• Measure kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial joinery using a digital measuring device (training provided)
• Convert measurements into accurate AutoCAD production drawings
• Prepare and check files for CNC manufacturing
• Read and interpret architectural and joinery plans
• Liaise with the office, factory, and install teams
• Ensure drawings are production-ready and error-free

What We’re Looking For;

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD

Additional Attributes (helpful but not essential);

• Experience with digital templating / laser measuring a bonus, but training will be provided.
• Understanding of construction, joinery and/or benchtop construction
• Previous experience preparing files for CNC machinery

• Strong time management and communication skills
• Full NZ driver licence preferred
