Carpenters & Hammerhands Needed – 60+ Hours Weekly | Long-Term Opportunity

Tradestaff Christchurch is seeking Carpenters and Hammerhands with 60+ hours available in a fixed yard location on the east side of Christchurch.

No formal qualification required – we are open to experienced hammerhands and carpenters who can demonstrate solid skills on the tools.

Location: East Christchurch (yard-based – no site-to-site travel)

Start: Immediate

Pay Rate: $29 – $31 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:

• Work in a well-established prefab yard environment
• Carry out framing and prefabrication of timber components
• Read and interpret plans (or learn on the job if developing)
• Use hand and power tools confidently
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace
• Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines
