Hammerhand
We’re on the lookout for experienced Hammerhands ready to get stuck into work across Hawke’s Bay. With a solid pipeline of residential and commercial projects, we’ve got consistent work ready to go now for the right people.
Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay Start date: Immediate Pay rate: $28–$32 per hour (paid weekly)
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting qualified builders on residential and commercial sites
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling building materials
- General carpentry support including framing, formwork, and fit-out
- Site preparation and clean-up to keep sites running smoothly
- Loading and unloading materials, handling tools and equipment
- Following health & safety procedures on site
What we’re looking for:
- Solid hammerhand experience on residential and/or commercial sites
- Confident on the tools and knows their way around a site
- Own basic tools and ready to get stuck in
- Turns up on time, works hard, and pulls their weight
- Physically fit and able to handle a full day on site
