We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hammerhand to join our clients team with an immediate start. This position is suited to someone with strong experience in formwork, concrete placing, and general site work who can hit the ground running on a busy project.
About the Role
You will be working alongside a professional team carrying out a range of carpentry tasks. Your work will involve constructing and dismantling formwork, preparing and placing concrete, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with project specifications. The ability to read and interpret plans accurately is essential, as is maintaining safe work practices on site at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Constructing, setting out, and stripping formwork
- Assisting with concrete preparation and placing
- Reading and working from detailed plans and drawings
- Using and maintaining your own carpentry tools
- Ensuring all work meets site, safety, and quality requirements
- Supporting the wider team with general carpentry duties as needed
Requirements
- Proven hammerhand experience, ideally within civil or commercial environments
- Solid understanding of formwork systems and concrete work
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans confidently
- Must have your own tools
- Reliable, punctual, and able to start immediately
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Clean background check required
