Qualified Electrician
West Auckland Pay up to $40 per hour
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Qualified Electrician to join our client’s tight-knit and hardworking team in. This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with a company that values quality workmanship, reliability, and a positive team culture, This team works across sites around West Auckland and the North Shore. You will be working as an Electrician on large-scale infrastructure projects, supporting the team with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including CCTV, fire alarms, and lighting systems.This is a hands-on role that involves working at heights and in busy environments. You’ll be expected to follow safety procedures, work efficiently, and be reliable and punctual each day.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Performing electrical maintenance and repairs
- Carrying out new electrical installations, upgrades, and renovations
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently
- Ensuring all work complies with current NZ electrical regulations and safety standards
- Conducting testing and inspections to ensure compliance and performance
- Working independently and collaboratively with the wider team to deliver high-quality results
What We’re Looking For:
- NZ Qualified Electrician (EWRB Registered)
- Minimum 5+ years’ electrical experience
- Experience with CCTV, lighting, and infrastructure projects
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and fault-finding abilities
- Comfortable working at heights and in fast-paced environments
- Sound understanding of NZ electrical safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently, manage time well, and maintain high workmanship standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
