So, join us on our mission to ensure every community has access to safe water for life - we believe that’s worth striving for. Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for a physically fit and reliable Labourer to join our team on a temporary full-time basis, with potential to go permanent.
You’ll be working as part of a crew carrying out fire hydrant and sluice valve maintenance, helping ensure critical water infrastructure remains safe, functional, and accessible.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Painting and maintaining fire hydrants
- Servicing and inspecting sluice valves
- Cleaning out valve and hydrant boxes
- General labouring and site support
- Working outdoors in a hands-on, physical role
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00am – 12:00pm (early starts required)
About You
You’re someone who enjoys physical, outdoor work and takes pride in being reliable and getting the job done.
You will have:
- Ability to work early morning shifts (3am starts)
- Full Class 1 driver licence
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
- Good attendance, punctuality, and reliability
- Physical fitness for labouring tasks
- Flexibility in a changing work environment
