Our client is renowned nationwide for supplying marquees, furniture, lighting and glassware to weddings, corporate events, major festivals and community gatherings. We're looking for a motivated Marquee Riggers to join their dynamic team in Christchurch and across New Zealand.
As a Marquee Rigger, you will be hands-on with the setup and pack down of marquees at a variety of exciting events.
Your work will involve:
- Installing, setting up and dismantling marquees
- Assisting with physical labour including heavy lifting
- Installing temporary fencing and flooring
- General labouring duties as needed
We have shifts available Monday to Sunday, with varying start times and locations. Some travel may be required, so a reliable car is essential.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a valid Class 1 and 2 license
- Be comfortable with heavy physical labour and lifting
- Have strong communication skills and reliability
- Have a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Be willing to travel and work flexible hours
