EQUIP Recruitment is seeking a Qualified Drainlayer to join well-established civil and commercial projects across the Wellington region. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and understands the importance of safety and compliance on site.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing stormwater, sewer and water reticulation systems
- Working across commercial, civil and infrastructure sites
- Reading and interpreting plans, levels and specifications
- Setting out work accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring all work complies with NZ standards and site requirements
- Working independently or as part of a wider site crew
What We're Looking For
- Formal Drainlaying qualification (Certified / Qualified)
- Proven on-site drainlaying experience
- Strong understanding of NZ drainage standards
- Ability to work autonomously or within a team
- High level of safety awareness and attention to detail
