Experienced Pipe Fitter required in Wellington
Location: Wellington, New Zealand Employment Type: Full-Time & an Immediate Start Available
We are a leading construction and fabrication company specialising in industrial and commercial projects across the Wellington region. Due to continued growth and upcoming major projects, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Pipe Fitter to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication, installation, and assembly of piping systems
- Working on steel structures, including welding, bolting, and alignment
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards
- Site-based work involving heights and structural assembly
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter, with specific expertise in the assembly of steel structures
- Current Working at Heights certificate
- Must provide and maintain your own tools
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and safe work practices
- Reliable transport and ability to work flexibly across Wellington sites
- Trade qualification in pipe fitting, welding, or metal fabrication
- Additional tickets (e.g., confined space, EWP)
