Description

Do you want an opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to providing a safe environment for Hamiltonians’ and visitor’s within the city?

This is a highly rewarding and challenging field based role, a chance to work together with people, and businesses. Our Safety Officers provide a visible presence and de-escalate issues and reduce the public exposure to nuisance behaviour from other users.

In this role you will actively monitor our CCTV network to provide a proactive response to issues as they happen. You will also work with NZ Police to provide information and footage to help convict law-breakers.

We look for people who are;

engaging and enjoy meeting new people have a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn available to work 5 day rostered shifts over 24/7 period flexible, responsive and able to think on their feet excellent communicators including written, verbal and listening skills confident and professional have a full NZ drivers Licence The recruiting pay for this role starts at $48,000 per annum pro rata (equivalent of $23.07/hr) and could be negotiated for the right candidate.
