We’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades driver/operator to step into a varied, hands-on role covering multiple vehicle types and site operations across our waste and transport business.
This role changes day-to-day, so it won’t suit someone who needs the same run every day, but if you like variety, responsibility, and being relied on, this could be a great fit.
The Role *You’ll be covering a wide range of work, including: *Digger operation and loading T&T units *Operating Class 5 T&T *Class 4 front loader and side loader *Class 2 gantry and rear loader *Class 1 box body trucks, utes, and trailers *Truck movements, site cover, and general support as needed
You may also be seconded to Silverdale, Warkworth or Penrose from time to time. All travel is in a company vehicle and you’ll start your day from Whenuapai or the Waitakere Transfer Station.
Hours & Roster *Mostly Monday–Friday *Saturdays required: On weeks with a public holiday & When covering T&T drivers *Optional Saturday vehicle cleaning available (6–8 hours) if you want extra hours
Experience We’re Looking For *Ideally experienced in waste haulage *Confident operating diggers/loaders and tipping at landfills such as Redvale, Hampton Downs or Whitford *Class 5 preferred, but strong all-round experience is key *Linehaul drivers looking to step back from 70-hour weeks but still happy to cover T&T work are encouraged to apply
Training *Full training provided across all vehicle classes as required
