Description
I HAVE ALREADY HAD THIS ITEM INDEPENDENTLY EXAMINED AND AUTHENTICATED IN THE US BY PSA - THE BUYER WILL RECEIVE THE ORIGINAL AUTHENTICATION LETTER WITH LAWRENCE'S LETTER.
The authentication letter carries tamper-proof authenticator numbering : AC06084.
Not really to much to say about one of the all-time GIANTS of literature.
David Herbert Lawrence (1885 – 1930) was the English writer and poet and his collected works represent, among other things, an extended reflection upon the dehumanising effects of modernity and industrialisation.
Lawrence's writing explores issues such as sexuality, emotional health, vitality, spontaneity, and instinct. Lawrence's iconic novels include Sons and Lovers, The Rainbow, Women in Love, and Lady Chatterley's Lover.
Lawrence's opinions earned him many enemies and he endured official persecution, censorship, and misrepresentation of his creative work throughout the second half of his life, much of which he spent in a voluntary exile he called his "savage pilgrimage".
E. M. Forster, in an obituary notice, described him as "the greatest imaginative novelist."
The 1-page letter is 6.5-inches by 9-inches in size.
The letter remains in excellent condition.
A TRULY SUPERB, ONE-OF-A-KIND, DOCUMENT WITH A FASCINATING HISTORICAL CONTEXT.
As always - no nonsense - I GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY OF THIS AND EVERY SIGNATURE IN MY COLLECTION FOR LIFE or your money back and I put that in writing too!
