Description
Very very rare beautiful French brooch .made in 1840s-1860s Hallmarked with the French eagle for 18ct gold , instate in 1838. Can't quite make out the maker even with my loupe. 1.9cm in diameter Has eight 1mm mine cut Diamonds set around the 1.5mm centre stone. Backing Stone is a very clear Amethyst. Weight is 4.9 grams Brooch and safety chain are in very good condition. Not the original box obviously. Selling some of my collection
