Description
These two large serving platters were made between the 1850,s and possibly the early 1900,s.They do have some ware.I bought them with an antique lot and the initials JM&Co and W are at the back with pattern I presume called Florence. If I’m correct John Maddock and sons manifactured a range of part ironstone potterry in the 1800,s known as vitreous ware. These two platters are very heavy so I think they feel like iron stone and looking at the condition though antique no cracks ,minimal nibbles Maby two or so ,so tiny you can’t really see but I took photos of it.The large one is 40 cm x 32 cm and the smaller one 35.5 cm x 28 cm.I don’t mind pick ups because this is really heavy and big,but I will gladly package and post at the buyers cost.It will definitely need to be in a box.
