Background:

Climate change is happening faster than anyone expected. In December this year world leaders will gather in Copenhagen to Sign On to a global agreement for action. For NZ to do its bit to help avoid catastrophic impacts, John Key needs to go to Copenhagen and Sign On to reduce New Zealands emissions by 40 per cent by 2020.

Signon.org.nz aims to get 10s of thousands of Kiwis to Sign On to support John Key doing the right thing at Copenhagen.

In the first weeks of the campaign there are almost 50,000 people Signed On, including climate scientist Jim Salinger, and business leaders Geoff Ross and Stephen Tindall.
