This amazingly rare item is a ceramic (porcelain) mortuary table from the old Te Kuiti Hospital.

It has three parts: two pedestal legs and a tabletop. It is made by Twyfords UK. It is solid ceramic (porcelain) and very heavy. It is in excellent condition, apart from being a little grubby, but a quick water blast will fix that.

Each Pedestal is 745mm high, 235mm deep, 540mm wide. Each pedestal approx 80kg The top is 2,030mm long, 160mm deep, 790mm wide, approx 500kg.

The table top is currently stored upside-down on my unwarranted/unregged trailer, so I can’t get an image of its top. But I have included a photo from the internet of what it looks like.

Collection is essential. It will require either a hi-ab or a team of people to lift. Because it’s on my trailer, it could possibly be slid across to your trailer, but it will still require strong people to assist.

Ideal for a collector of old or antique medical furniture or equipment.
