Vintage “A and F. PARKES and Co”hedging pattern axe head

Approx measurements: Blade: 100mm Butt to blade: 210mm Weight: 1.7kg

Stamp is barely visible but still able to make it out. Made by A and F Parkes and Co in Birmingham, England. This is a hedging pattern head, (It’s like a longer/ narrower Kent pattern head.) I removed a small amount of mushrooming from the edges a while ago.

*this is the first time this axe will be sold in Nz marketplace, as is the case with 99% of my axes. have gathered most from the uk and USA over the past 15 years. I will be letting go of quite a large percentage of my axe and hatchet collection here on trade me, all types of patterns and origins and quality's (from mint to Rusty).
