Billy Apples work is held in museum collections such as the Guggenheim Museum, New York, The Tate Britain, London and Te Papa Tongarewa, Museum of New Zealand. It is also represented in corporate collections such as the Bank of New Zealand, Fay Richwhite, and Minter Ellison Rudd Watts and in public collections such as Victoria University of Wellington and the New Zealand Government.

"The horse named Billy! is 15.3 hands high and the reserve is $15,750." Red and green are Billy Apples art-brand colours. He uses them here to create the winners rug that covers his manicured black racehorse, red for the port (left) side and green for starboard. Reminiscent of racing car livery, the rug displays the sponsors brands.

The NZ Native Forests Restoration Trust is New Zealand's leading organisation involved in forest restoration. Since its establishment in 1980, the Trust has acquired land at the rate of 200ha a year to protect important species, restore their habitats and to improve the quality of our waterways. It now has 30 reserves throughout the North Island with a total of more than 6,000ha of protected native forests, the most recent being 113ha of wetland at Tupare on the Kaipara Peninsula.
